The Secondary School has created an environment which takes students well beyond the ‘question and answer’ process associated with learning. MIRROR SUMMER CAMP

Progressive Group of Schools is a two (2) weeks camp outside Nigeria which is being attended by children from over 70 countries in places like United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. The Summer Camp is designed to give both children from other schools and ours the opportunity to experience culture and weather of other countries. While at summer camps children are exposed to diversity, to the challenge of approaching children that may not normally meet, and to the satisfaction of making connections with them without their parent’s help. Furthermore, summer camps’ activities encourage self-development and teach them essential leadership skills by teaching them how to take care of themselves outside their comfort zone, and by encouraging them to develop a stronger sense of personal pride and self-reliance.

LANGUAGE PROGRAM

We prioritize Chinese Mandarin as the first Foreign Language in the School. This is because it is the most spoken language in the world by nearly 2 billion people. China is Nigeria's biggest trading partner and Chinese economy is projected to be the world biggest economy by 2050. It is right that we equip future entrepreneurs with basic knowledge of Chinese Language and Culture. Additionally, we have French and Deutsch Language Teachers.The ability to communicate in multiple languages is becoming more and more important in the increasingly integrated global community.

CLUB

Education should be for life and not merely for a livelihood. It should train all our mental and Physical faculties. For this purpose we have formed various clubs for producing a complete human beings. These includes:

Subscribers of this program will be choosing one of the following Entrepreneur class:

C. Photography and Videography.
D. Fashion Design
E. Beauty-Plus (Hair, Nail and Make-up)

This is to prepare the children for the current global market.

LAUNDRY SERVICE

You need not to worry about your child coming home with messy uniform anymore. Our Early Years Section is well equipped with Industrial Washing and Drying Machines as well as a Steam Iron, clothes are cleaned and ready for wear in minutes.

SCHOOL LUNCH/SNACKS

This is an effort to ease the workload of catering for the children. Waking up very early in the morning to get the kids ready for school as well as making breakfast and also preparing lunch every day is not an easy task. We have a flexible and affordable School Lunch/Snacks Program.

You do not have to worry about your kids’ lunch and snacks anymore. Our catering service will bear this burden for you.

The children are provided with a snack in the morning (first break) and at lunch break they will be served a nutritious balanced diet.

There are varieties of foods on the menu and all meals are freshly cooked on a daily basis.

SCHOOL BUS

Riding to school with friends is fun! School Bus riders have a chance to mix with children of different ages. You’d be surprised how protective the bigger kids are of the little ones, and how much the little ones enjoy the chance to speak to older children. This builds confidence, social skills and self-esteem. It builds punctuality! Being ready for pickup on or before time with bags and school supplies that you need for the day, teaches children about self-reliance from a very young age.
